Help with a teen bedroom?

My 14 year old niece is moving in with us for possibly up to a year, and we're in the process of setting up one of our guest bedrooms for her. She said she doesn't really care what it looks like, but she doesn't want anything bright or crazy. She said she likes black and white, but only with another color, like blue or pink. She doesn't want her old room, and I want to redo it! I'm really into redecortaing and such, and I was asking for different ideas.

1. Why don't you just move everything from her old room into that room and leave it set up like that? Paint the walls white with one black wall or something.

7. My aunt had thought about painting my cousins room with a chalkboard black paint on his walls. The cool thing about the chalkboard paint would be that your niece could draw on the walls with chalk and simply erase it. I thought it was a unique but CRAZY idea.
8. just get like a black and white comforter with a kind of busy pattern on it, and get like accent pillows, and other things like this of one color. and decorate the room with mostly those tree colors. :) add accents of the brighter color through out the room.
