How much for a 1 bedroom apartment in Orlando?

I'll be temporarily moving to Orlando for 6 months or longer, and I need to know how much a decent 1 bedroom apartment costs to rent in or around the Orlando area. I've looked at apartment websites, but the prices seemed too low. Can anyone give me an estimate on what the monthly rental price would be? If you know of any websites that show correct renting prices in this area, I would appreciate it.

  1. call a real estate firm in that city simple
  2. I paid $895 in West Palm, but that was over a year ago, I know prices have come down since then, but kemperk is right, just call a real estate firm that deals with rentals in Orlando, they should be able to give you a ballpark figure.
  3. We looked extensively before we chose our apartment in Orlando last year. So I do happen to know some of the current prices. Most places around the Metrowest area here (close to Universal Studios/International Drive) are $750+. When you get out towards the other attractions (Disney/Seaworld) near the Lake Beuna Vista area it's going to be a little different... probably at least $850+. If you're going to be as far as the UCF area you can probably find a one bedroom $650+ easy. Maybe less. What we found more than anything is a complex to complex thing. There is no standard pricing. Plus they change based on specials and current occupancy every month. You most likely will not find any sort of straight answer on rent websites. If you are going to continue your search while out of the area calling is probably your safest bet.
