ideas on paint color?

I want to paint my bedroom, but i have maroon carpet (ick) any ideas on what color paint will work with that?

1. Cream or ivory is your best bet but if you want a colour maybe a pale olive could work. Another idea is a apricot but you'd have to have te right accessories for that.
