Would a chandelier in a master bedroom be too much?

My master bedroom is decorated in white and black with red flowers. It has vaulted ceilings and high windows and is pretty spacious. I recenlty saw a very pretty black and white chandelier I wanted for my master! Would that be too gaudy for a bedroom? Thanks. I also don't want it to look like a dining room, lol.

  1. It all depends on you. I have thought about it my self and I have seen it done several times, It looked great with the other accents in the room. Go for it.
  2. A chandelier in the bedroom adds a sohpisticated touch. I think it would add whimsy and style to your room. This website has really cool bed rooms well really cool rooms done by everyday people! Rate my space. Here is a link/example of a bedroom with a chandelier... Have fun!
  3. As long as it makes you happy, it's not too much. Chandeliers are very popular right now for any room of the house. If all else fails you can get rid of it sometime down the road. I say go for it and enjoy! Happy decorating!
