How do I organize my bedroom?

I went through all the stuff in my bedroom in the summer and threw out everything I don't need, now I just need to organize it all. But where do I start? Any tips?

1. You just need a place for everything ex. bookcase, desk, place for shoes, dirty clothes ect. if you designate a certain spot for everything you own and make sure it is returned to its spot when your done with it you will be organized
