Want pink teen bedroom furniture? I am desperately searching for a cute pink bedroom set for my teen girl. She is obsessed with pink and ONLY wants a pink bedroom set. The only problem is we can't find any pink bedroom sets ANYWHERE. The only ones that we find are for children. HELP! Does anyone know of a place that sells pink bedroom sets for teen girls?

How to set up teen guys bedroom? There's 2 teenage boys who will be sharing a bedroom. They are cousins. They are both freshman in high school(they will be sophomores next school year). We were wondering what are some possibilities to paint their room and what comforters and blankets and sheets they night like and what type of other things they might like in their room and everything. So im 14 and I want to make my room alot more like a teen bedroom, but i dont mean like posters of bands and all that stuff, i want like bright colors and cool stuff like that, somewhere where me and my friends can just hang out, right now my room is soo broing, the walls are a light pale purple white yellowish-white carpet and white furniture and my bed doesnt have a headboard, it has one of those white net-canopy things, I;v tried re arranging the furniture and everythign but it still doesnt work. Is there any way I could make a huge difference without having to paint the walls or buy a bunch of new stuff, I can buy some new stuff just not paint and new bed sets and stuff. Remodeling a tomboy-ish teen girl's bedroom...? I'm a teenage girl and my parents are going to FINALLY paint the bedrooms next summer. We've lived in our house for two years and they haven't got around to painting the chipping white walls yet. So... The reason I say I'm tomboy-ish is because I absolutely hate pink and purple. I'm going to paint my walls a dark chocolate brown because it's like my neutral color; I'll never hate it. My question is, what can I add to the walls and the rest of my room to make it contemporary and stylish? I don't want a safari theme or anything. Just plain brown walls with things to hang on them. My room has enough room for a queen sized bed, TV armoir, desk, and a large 3 drawer dresser. None of my furniture matches at the moment, and it bugs the heck out of me. Parents & Teens - Which bedroom set is best for two girls...? Ages 11 and 8? My daughters share a room and a queen-sized bed. Right now it's pink and brown, hardwood floors with no rugs, the walls aren't painted, and it's very plain and what decor they do have is very much a little girls' room. It's ready for an update. I gave them the choice to do the room themselves, IE pick out all the paint, decor, bedding, or to let me design it and surprise them with a whole new room. They were both excited about the latter idea, so that's what I'll be doing. I figured the easiest way is to pick out bedding, then base paint and some decor around that, and then take them shopping and let them pick out the other accessories. They agreed on something with bright blue, green or teal, cool colors but still girly. I don’t want my theme poka dots for my room want plain colors, which I have accept the black dots on bed, and on the walls, and the rest is nice pinks, and green colours. I have A bed its metal and black metal clothes rack (with selfs) its black, and a nice Champange redy, brown, culored night stand desk, with draws. I think pink and red and white and black, all go together, plus the colours on my bedspread. Creating a bedroom for a pre-teen and also using it as a game room. Does anyone have this from pottery barn? Hi, I'm having my pre-teen sister (12) stay with me over this summer right after school lets out until school starts. I'm going to set up an area in our gameroom for her to stay in. Why do so many parents that are capable of giving to charity, don't? I have 5 kids ages 13, 6, 4, 2 and 7 months (adopted recently). I enforce charity a lot! In the past year or 2, I've been apart of: - opening a daycare and afterschool program for children from poor, working families - bringing fun to kids in the hosptial - "adopt" 2 families for Christmas each year - providing a toy and cake for children in the shelter on their birthday - organizing a finance and parenting class for those in the local shelters - serve lunch every other Tuesday and Thursday at the soup kitchen - bring baby supplies to poor or teen parents - donate gently used baby and child bedroom sets to the parents moving to a house/apartment out of the homeless shelter (I donated 2 baby sets with crib, dresser, rocker, side table, and changing table and 5 child sets with a bed, dresser, toy box, night stand, and book shelf) -CURRENT: rasing clothes, toys, blankets, and supplies for children at an orphanage in Mexico I don't expect everyone to do this, but why not some? The place that I live has many "well-off" people that just toss brand new computers, bedrooms sets, and even clothes like well, they're old nobody will want them. I saw this happening with my next-door neighbor so I went over her house and asked her if I could bring her somewhere . We went 3 towns over, to a place with many poor people and children. I walked into the homeless shelter with bags of these clothes and they were screaming they were so happy. All name-brand: Hollister, Coach, Gap, Gymboree, etc. She now brings things over there all the time. I'm sorry, not ALL people, but a lot. I'm just daying tons of people I know and stuff. Maybe you do, and I appoligize if you do as well. I'm not looking for a pat on the back, it's a question!! Yes, the kids all do at my house (besides the 2 and 7 month old). The oldest does a lot of cancer and AIDS help. The 6 year old picks out her old toys and clothes to bring to the places with me. Then the 4 year old just tags along with me, and sees how lucky he is. I reliaze that, but a lot of them are young parents that ahave never really taken one. It doesn't been poor parents are bad people or whatever. They are not, obviously I don't think so. Yes, I am a part-time school social worker. EVERYTHING I DO IS LOCAL EXCEPT FOR THE ORPHANAGE. I know you would give too if you saw the pictures. The only things they have to play with are old boxes and bottles. HORRIBLE! And I'm bringing it, not shipping it. Sorry the 4 year old is a "she" not a "he" lol.

New bedroom theme ideas? I'm moving in January to a much larger house, and I've already picked my bedroom. We began to plan where we'd put everything, but my dad told me that we'd get a lot of new furniture, including a new bed-set for me. My current one would go to the opair/nanny in the basement. So what "theme" should I make/have my new-soon-to-be bedroom? I'm 11 years old and quite a mix of everything, ig. preppy, artistic, athletic (only a bit!!). Are there any condo resorts in Oahu or Maui? If so, which ones? By condo resort I mean a condo (or similar) that has a resort-like setting. Nice pool area, on or near the beach, maybe some restaurants, and activities within the facility. I am looking into condos now since we prefer a 2-bedroom (for myself, husband, and 2 teens).

How do you know if you had a past life? Is it possible to have had a past life? I can't figure out why I'm so sexually attracted to and have so much in common with a man just a few years younger than my father. On the days that my husband and I do not have sex, we are content to just be around each other cuddling all day. How can I arrange my furniture in my room? I'm moving into a bigger bedroom and want to arrange my furniture in a more modern layout but still make the room look big and spacious. I'm tired of everything going against a wall, and having the perimeter of my room cramped with stuff surrounded by an open space in the middle. I have one dresser, a night stand, twin bed, computer and desk and a smaller cabinet with study related items in it, as well as a tv set. I am not sure if I should combine everything or as some magazines portray, section my room off with one area dedicated to lounge and study and then a sleeping area. Health: Children's Health News FRIDAY, Aug. 17 (HealthDay News) -- Sleep experts are reminding parents that establishing regular sleep habits should be included on children's back-to-school lists. Children should gradually start adjusting their sleep schedules about two weeks prior to the start of the new school year, according to the National Sleep Foundation. Children need adequate sleep in order to be alert and energized and able to perform their best at school. "Kids tend to sleep and wake up later during the summer, making the transition to the school-year sleep schedule difficult. As tempting as it is to enjoy sleeping late in the final days of summer break, getting up earlier for school will be much easier if kids begin adjusting their sleep schedules now," Richard Gelula, CEO of the NSF, said in a prepared statement. The NSF offers the following sleep tips for the start of the school and the rest of the school year: Beginning two weeks to 10 days before the start of school, gradually adjust children to earlier sleep and wake times in order to set their biological clocks for the new schedule. Keep a regular sleep schedule on weekdays and avoid extreme changes in the routine on weekends. Establish a relaxing bedtime routine, such as reading before bed. Do not have televisions, computers, video games or other electronics in the bedroom. Don't let children watch television or use electronic devices during the half hour before bedtime. Limit caffeine intake, especially after lunch. Make sure children eat well and exercise The NSF also offered sleep advice for parents: Set a good example. By adopting good sleep habits, your children are less likely to develop bad sleep habits. Talk to children about the importance of healthy sleep and the consequences of sleepiness, such as drowsy driving. Parents need to understand that children, including teens, need more sleep than adults. Children who have trouble waking in the morning on more than three days a week, or who snore, may not be getting enough sleep. They may need to be evaluated by a specialist. Ask teachers whether your child is alert or sleepy during class. If there appears to be a problem, take steps to improve your child's sleep.
